Why regular vehicle inspections are so important

The average car owner may think – if there’s nothing wrong with my vehicle that I can see or feel, then there’s no reason for me to go to the auto shop. However, this is not the case. Good car maintenance is proactive and also preventative – the best way to save yourself money on your vehicle over the years is to catch issues early on before they become expensive, larger repairs.

Daily driving, weather, road trips, and more can take a toll on the condition of your vehicle. When you get regular inspections on your vehicle, you allow an experienced mechanic to evaluate the condition of your vehicle overall and the systems within it. At our shop, we only recommend services or repairs that we feel are completely necessary to your safety and that will lead to major repairs if ignored.

We want to change the way that car owners think about vehicle maintenance. It isn’t a way for an auto shop to take your money – it is actually a way that you can ensure you’ll never get stuck in the middle of the road or be handed a huge bill for a vehicle repair that could have been prevented. Think of regular vehicle inspections as a protection for your huge investment on your vehicle.

A regular inspection at our shop is the best way to understand your vehicle and what it needs. We recommend an inspection at each oil change, or at least twice a year. This doesn’t mean that you will need services every time, but it will allow you to stay on top of your vehicle’s needs and catch those pesky issues at the start. During a vehicle inspection, our mechanics will check your car’s essential components such as fluids, air filters, brake pads, battery, tires, belts and hoses, and more.

If it has been a while since your last vehicle inspection, don’t hesitate to give us a call or stop by our shop today!
